A small house on the Left Bank, where each of our sixty-four rooms has been composed individually — not as a tier, but as a temperament. We list them here as a catalogue, in the order a guest ought to consider them: from the quietly classical to the four rooms that actually face the Eiffel Tower.
The Catalogue
Four categories, read as a hierarchy of intimacy.
We do not present our rooms as a price ladder. Each category describes a different way of being in the house — the size of the windows, the grain of the parquet, the distance from the courtyard brasserie at breakfast. The four Eiffel Signature rooms, marked separately below, remain the rarest allocation we offer.

Classique
20 — 24 m² · Courtyard or Rue de l'Université
Our smallest rooms are not our simplest. Wrought-iron balconies, walnut parquet laid in 1923, and bathrooms finished in Carrara marble chosen slab by slab. Recommended for a single traveller, or a couple passing through Paris for two or three nights who intend to be out in the city by day and need only a quiet place to return to.

Supérieure
26 — 32 m² · Garden or side-street
A reading chair, a writing desk from the Marek family's apartment in Lyon, and a window tall enough to stand beside. The Supérieure category is where most of our repeat guests settle — the rooms are generous without ceremony, and a number of them open onto the inner courtyard where the chestnut trees turn in October.

Eiffel Signature
28 — 34 m² · Direct view of the Tour Eiffel · Four rooms only
Rooms 401, 402, 501 and 502 — the four that actually face the iron lattice. We have declined, for thirty-two years, to extend this view to the rest of the house. The signature rooms sell by mid-afternoon on the better months, and we hold one back each season for guests staying six nights or longer. Ask the concierge; she keeps the calendar.

Suites
42 — 58 m² · Separate sitting room
Six suites across the fourth and fifth floors, each with its own sitting room and a bathroom laid out around a freestanding roll-top bath. The two Turenne Suites retain their original 1898 Boiserie panelling. None of them overlook the Eiffel Tower — we consider that a different pleasure, kept for the signature rooms above.
All rates are starting rates in euros, exclude city tax (€5.20 per guest per night), and are honoured identically whether you book through your travel advisor, our website, or by telephone.
The Four That Face the Iron
Four rooms. Four windows. One view.
The view is a scarce allocation — by design, not by accident. Of our sixty-four rooms, only these four were positioned by the original architect in 1898 to receive the Tour Eiffel in full. We have not altered the assignment since.
Signature rooms are released ninety days in advance and frequently held back for guests staying six nights or longer. The reservations desk will tell you honestly which of the four is available for your dates.
In Every Room, Without Exception
The same standard of service, whatever the category.
It is the question we are asked most often by travel advisors and returning guests: do I need a suite? The answer, almost always, is no. The four inclusions below are present in every one of our sixty-four rooms.

Nightly turndown from 19:00
A housekeeping team of twenty-two sees to each room between seven and nine in the evening — curtains drawn, water replenished, a small card on the pillow noting tomorrow's weather and the concierge's morning suggestion.

II.
A concierge who has stayed
Our concierge team averages eleven years with the house and is fluent in six languages. They answer WhatsApp and email within seven minutes before 23:00 CET — and they know Paris because they live in it, not because they have read about it.

III.
The electric Ami, on us
A complimentary Citroën Ami shuttle runs within the 7th arrondissement from 08:00 to 22:00 — enough range for a meeting in Saint-Germain, a museum in Invalides, or an early dinner by the river and home again.

IV.
Nothing single-use, since 2021
There is not a single-use plastic in any of our bathrooms. Toiletries are produced in Sancerre by a small atelier, decanted into ceramic pumps that are refilled at every stay. It is a small thing; we consider it a baseline.

“A guest telephoned at half past three on a Saturday afternoon in May. He had proposed, she had said yes, and they wanted dinner by the river — in two and a half hours. I had no table. By four o'clock I had a table at a brasserie on the Île Saint-Louis that does not, as a rule, accept reservations.
